Tech Prep
Mission Statement
With the world changing so
fast, it is imperative that our classrooms learn to
change with it. Students need to be prepared to work effectively in a rapidly
changing, world-class society.
Tech Prep at Ottawa Hills
High School is made up of a variety of different
cultures of students who work toward a common goal:
To Prepare for the
Future
Tech Prep students are provided
with opportunities to learn transitional skills
that will help them succeed in the "real world." The solar car
projects is a vivid
demonstration of these powerful skills students learn in Tech Prep--Effective
Communication, Self-directed Learning, Using Technology, Producing Quality,
and Team building.
Tech Prep motivates
students to stay in school and prepares them to be employable,
productive, and confident citizens in a highly competitive world-class society.
